Over the course of spring break, one foreign exchange student fulfilled one of his long-time dreams by going to the Black Hills in South Dakota: Mt. Rushmore.

“To be willing to go out and do good work,” is what junior Casey Coffman said it means to be a scout.

The Great Falls Symphony recently had a guest performer, and a select group of CMR musicians were lucky enough to experience the excellence first hand.
Naoko Takada, a performing musician out of Los Angeles, was invited to play the marimba for a piece with the symphony. She was born in Japan and ever since she first heard the marimba, she said she knew that’s what she wanted to play.

Winter 2010 treated Central Montana residents to some heavy snowfall.
Winters in Montana have always been intense, but the amount of snow that is continuously dumped on our little town never ceases to amaze. Around CMR, snow was everywhere merely a few weeks ago. This rarely stops students from getting to school, going to lunch, or having a good time however. 18.2.2010 Deutsch Klasse – Studenten in dem vierten Jahre des Deutsches machen ein Poster wöruber wo sie in die Ferien gehen wurden. Sie wollen nach Leipzig, nach Luzern, nach Juist, und nach Salzburg gehen. Sie sagen etwas auf Deutsch über die Kultur, wo sie schlafen wurden, und was spass macht zum Besichtigen. Wenn man dorhin gehen will, wissen sie was sie machen wollen.

Senior Earl Lara knows how much dedication it takes to be a swimmer. Since he was a little tyke swimming for the Peak Waves, he’s been sacrificing for the good of the sport and the team.
