All state

It’s the best of the best. That’s what All State is to many including senior Tanner Gliko.

“You send in an audition and the best of auditions are accepted,” Gliko said. “It’s an opportunity to showcase the best the state has to offer.”

Although All State is the best of the best, Gliko also said this year was a very humbling experience for him.

“A freshman from Hellgate played percussion almost as well as me,” Gliko said.

All State may take a lot of effort and practice, but the performance and experience are exciting and worth the struggle.

“All State this year was a lot more because the conductor made the violin a manual analog tone producing machine,” Gliko said. “He was just making jokes left and right.”
