Spotlight: Dallas Farren

The JV single game record for passing yards was broken by junior Dallas Farren in a 25-21 win over Helena Capital. In the first JV game of the year, Farren set the new record with 380, but he knew he didn’t perform this amazing feat all on his own.

“I couldn’t have had more help from my teammates. All of the receivers were great, and the defense helped us seal the win. The win is what mattered more,” Farren said.

Farren said he had no idea that he has broken the record until days later.

“Coach came up to me and asked if I knew I had broken the record. I knew I had a pretty good game, but I had no idea. I made sure to thank all the guys,” he said.

Farren hopes to get some playing time with varsity this year, but is enjoying succeeding at the game he loves in the meantime.
