During the hot summer days, the River’s Edge Trail is a welcome respite from the heat in the early morning hours. Here, metal sculptures of Meriwether Lewis, William Clark and Sacajawea stand watch near the Black Eagle Dam. Artist Mike Woods created the sculptures, which are just one of many public art displays along the trail.
