Lunch Buddies is a club that brings high school students and elementary students together so they interact during lunch time. When Wednesday comes, students drive to an elementary school that Health teacher and club leader Lindsay Gustafson chooses. Sophomore Merrick Page is in Lunch Buddies and is planning to do it for a little while longer.
“[It is] fun to be hanging out with the kids and being with friends,” Page said.
Not only does Page want to keep going to Lunch Buddies, but he also wants to try and make it to schools that don’t do it either.
“I want the future of Lunch Buddies to have the ability to go to other schools the people don’t go to, like Meadowlark Elementary School,” Page said. Lunch Buddies is a great club that you can do over the school year and meet new people and new friends.
