Spring sports competitions get underway

Charles M. Russell High School has many opportunities to support your classmates participating in spring sporting events.

TRACK AND FIELD It all starts on April 6 with the freshman track and field competitors at CMR. On April 8, track and field competitors will participate in various events at 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

TENNIS Tennis matches on April 7 begin with a 1 p.m. match versus Conrad at the CMR courts, and then at 3:30 p.m. boys will compete at the Hurd tennis courts along the river near the skatepark. The girls team will be at the Meadowlark Country Club at 3:30 p.m. On April 9, tennis teams will play against Helena at 10 a.m. on the CMR courts.

SOFBALL Softball will play a double-header on April 16 against Bozeman at noon and Gallatin at 2 p.m. Softball takes on Great Falls High on April 21. JV will play at 3 p.m., and the varsity girls will hit the field at 4:30 p.m.
