Stampede editor in chief Tim Seery joined Katie Hodges and Josh Philyaw at the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevado in Reno, Nevada June 26-July 1 to learn skills needed to cover Rustler news online.

Beth Britton, adviser
Beth Britton is in her 20th year at CMR. She advises the Russellog yearbook and also teaches the Introduction to journalism and Photojournalism classes. She has a background in newspaper reporting and editing, and she advises the Stampede newspaper club in 2022-2023. Britton earned a B.A. in English and a M.A. in journalism. She grew up in Great Falls and moved back to town in 2001. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, riding her bike along the River’s Edge Trail, singing with a local jazz band and playing the string bass in the Great Falls Symphony. She is obsessed with Golden retrievers.
