“The Conjuring” leaves teen speechless
If you like jump scares, staying up all night, and love scary movies, then The Conjuring is the movie for you.
Starring Vera Farmiga, and Patrick Wilson as Lorraine and Ed Warren, they work as paranormal investigators and get called by Carolyn Perron, played by Lili Taylor, to check out her house that her family recently moved into; based on strange behaviors happening in the house that are unexplainable.
These events varied from their daughters seeing something in their room, to the clocks stopping at the same time every day.
Throughout the whole movie, the family all works together with the paranormal investigators to try and get rid of the demon following them wherever they go. All of these events that occur relate back to a doll named AnnaBell, which I can’t say anymore without giving away the movie.
Considering that I spent half of the movie with my face buried in a blanket, I loved it. It had a good plot, which really kept you interested throughout the entire movie. This says a lot considering I hate scary movies. As much as I wanted to turn it off, I couldn’t pull myself to do so. It kept me on my feet, and in my seat the whole time. It is definitely a must-see.
I would go see this again, because it’s one of those movies where you notice something different every time you watch it, and it’s one of those thriller movies that you can’t help but watch. The film is rated R and runs about 112 minutes.
