Janelle Munson coming back for another round
Janelle Munson’s name might be on the “new teachers” list this year, but she is no stranger to C. M. Russell High School.
“I love the students and staff at CMR,” Munson said about her new teaching position. Munson, a Great Falls native and Great Falls High School graduate, is a new English and special education teacher.
For the past 11 years, Munson taught at Great Falls High School but was happy to come back to CMR, having spent two years teaching in the home of the Rustlers.
“I miss Great Falls High,” she said, but she added that she was happy to return to the home of the Rustlers. “Everyone’s been very supportive.”
Munson said that she loves teaching, having been influenced by her mother, an elementary school teacher at Mountain View Elementary School.
“I loved going to school with my mom at Mountain View and helping her grade papers,” Munson said about her inspiration to become a teacher.
“I wanted to come back [to CMR]. I always really respected my teachers here.”
