Students decide on what they want to do this summer
June 3, 2019
Free time. Sometimes all you have during the summer is free time. And the annual problem with our generation is finding a good way to spend it. In high school most students want to get that bread. They can work 40 hours a week 7 days a week. A lot of students want to catch up on lost social opportunities. Others just want to relax and prepare for next year.
“I want to go up to the cabin and ride my dirt bike,” freshman Katelyn Zuris said,
While Zuris wants to have fun all summer, other people like freshman Royce Schultz have only one goal; work.
Work is a lot of students’ goal for the summer.
“I just want to make money,” sophomore Peter Dascoulias said.
Some students are outliers like freshman Zoey Schug.
“I want to go to the gym and work out more,” she said.
Sticking to working out, freshman Brady Hamlin wants to work on basketball to make the sophomore team next year.
The three months of summer are full of opportunities. The time students have without school allows them to save up for college, cars, or a new phone. They have more time to hang out with friends.
So the only question left is: what do you want to do for summer?
