Exchange student following in sister’s footsteps

One foreign exchange student has quite the legacy at CMR. Two of her older sisters were exchange students at the school, making her the third person in her family to join the Rustler family.

Ester Krukova is an exchange student from Czechoslovakia. She said that she is excited to participate in new activities, such as football games, and to immerse herself in American culture.

“I said OK, why not improve my English, learn American culture and just explore America,” Krukova said. She said that American culture is very different from that of her home country, adding that Americans tend to be much friendlier. Krukova said that her sisters said the same, and this was a main factor that influenced her to pick CMR.

“Well, my sisters went here and they said that they had the greatest time here, that the people are nice,” she said. Krukova looks forward to exploring Montana, and she said she hopes to visit Yellowstone National Park as well as all that Great Falls has to offer.

“ [Great Falls] is small, but I like the nature.”
