Being chosen to represent the state of Montana in our nation’s capitol is a huge honor. An honor that science teacher, Christine Sundly, is proud to have been offered. “I’m excited, but even more nervous,” Sundly said.
Sundly was nominated and then chosen by Governor Shweitzer to represent Montana in the national STEM conference in Washington DC, May 3rd and 4th. Sundly is one of only two Montana representatives going to the conference.
The STEM conference serves to show teachers from all around the country where the schools are with incorporating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) into their ciriculum.
“I think Montana is pretty far along with including these subjects,” Sundly said.
