Heather Hoyer, New Secondary Assistant Supt. nominee for Great Falls Public Schools

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, a team of district and community leaders interviewed four highly qualified candidates from a pool of nine applicants for the Secondary Assistant Superintendent of Great Falls Public Schools. After careful consideration of each candidate, Mrs. Heather Hoyer has been selected to succeed the current Assistant Superintendent, Tom Moore beginning July 1, 2019 (Pending Board Approval). Heather has been serving as the principal of Great Falls High School since 2015. Prior to that Mrs. Hoyer was an associate principal at the school for seven years from 2008-2015. She taught Science and coached at Great Falls High from 1996-2007. From 2005-2007, Heather participated in an administrative internship at the Middle School and High School level. She and her husband Keith (also an educator) have two awesome daughters. Mrs. Hoyer is active in community leadership as a board member of the YWCA in Great Falls. She will be a great addition to the district leadership team. Congratulations to Mrs. Heather Hoyer!
