The CMR choir, band, and orchestra departments ended their season on a high note with their annual “Pop Concert.” Music students performed in the CMR auditorium for the final time this school year, but this specific concert is more special than the others.

“I believe [this concert is special] because the music selection is much easier and more modern,” junior choir member Mckenzie Connell said.

The choir performed songs from Greece, “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman, and “Na Na Na” by the Pentatonix on May 21.

“They’re just fun songs we all get to sing and dance to,” junior Max Magers said. This is Magers’ third “Pop Concert” performance.

The band put on a similar performance on May 14 which featured songs from The Lion King and “O Fortuna” by Carl Orff. Orchestra performed other modern hits on May 28 in Bill Will. Some songs include “Barbie Girl” by Aqua, “Zombie” by The Cranberries, and “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls.
