The Journalism Education Association has named senior Madison George the Montana High School Journalist of the Year. George, the editor in chief of the 2021 Russellog yearbook, has been active in the journalism department throughout high school, and she will attend Arizona State University in the fall. The Montana Newspaper Association provides a $1,000 college scholarship each year to the high school journalist.
