Business students excel at state leadership conference

The Business Professionals of America’s State Leadership Conference 2022 was held in Billings, and the following is a list of the CMR participants and the results.

The conference had over 1,000 students from various high schools around the state.

CMR High School had 20 students qualify from regionals; 17 then attended the conference, 14 of those got on stage (top 10 in the state), and 12 qualified for Nationals to be held in Dallas, Texas, May 4-8.

Results: National Qualifiers

2nd place: Payroll Accounting — Hannah Bingham

5th place: Fundamental Accounting — Becca Sherman

3rd place: Banking & Finance — Alex Johnson

4th place: Banking & Finance — Hayley Hatfield

2nd place: Medical Terminology Concept — Saana Meyers

5th place: Fundamentals of Web Design — Cayden Short

4th place: Legal Office Procedures — John Szewczyk
