A-Rod’s $25 million question yet to be answered
Alex Rodriguez knows how to do one thing: cause a fuss. Rodriquez has been fighting a 211-game suspension for performance enhancing drugs (PED) that was handed to him by Major League Baseball.
The 38-year old Yankees third baseman was linked to a biogenesis clinic early last year; also getting slammed with a ban was the likes of Nelson Cruz, Jhonny Peralta, and Ryan Braun. All of these players received suspensions for the rest of the year, which was about 100 games. Rodriguez was hit with a 211-game suspension, though, and he has denied and fought it bitterly.
The news recently broke; Rodriguez’s suspension would be reduced to 162 regular season games plus any playoff games the Yankees play in. He plans on taking MLB Players Association to federal court. His plans are to sue MLBPA and MLB for misconduct throughout the investigation.
