Hello my name is Jessica, and I am the editor of the opinion section of the Stampede. I am a senior here at CMR and am so excited to write articles for you to enjoy. My favorite subject in school is math, and my least favorite is English, although I absolutely love writing. One of my main passions is public speaking. I absolutely love public speaking, and persuasive speaking is my favorite type. I am an active participant on the school’s speech and debate team. I also really enjoy playing the piano and spending time with my family. After I graduate high school this spring I plan on serving a year and a half mission for my church. When this comes to an end, I plan on attending BYU to major in psychology and hopefully will decide my career within that field later down the road. For the Stampede this year, I hope to strengthen the opinion section the best I can and try to share and express the opinions of our school and the members of the staff in a polished and refined manner! 🙂
