Grass fire takes off during high winds
Smoke is visible March 13 from the Giant Springs road as a grass fire burns on the oppostite side of the MIssouri.

Strong winds March 13 caused electrical lines just outside Great Falls to topple, causing a massive grass fire on the north side of the Missouri River during the late afternoon. From near the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, smoke and flames were visible moving across farmland.
