Discussing her senior project, “Singing to the Tune of the Kids,” senior Caitlyn Aakre shares her opinions on the modern education system. Presentations ranging from medical topics and horse breaking to mission trips and kayak construction educated and entertained students, staff and guest judges May 23 at C.M. Russell High School. Seniors enrolled in the Senior Project class spent the year researching a topic, creating a product and sharing a presentation. Students were able to choose a topic of their choice. Aakre, who will be enrolled at MSU-Bozeman in the fall, plans to pursue a career in special education.
