Senior Garrett Lankford was awarded the Golden Flame Award at the June 1 Commencement exercises in the C.M. Russell Hgh School Fieldhouse. Lankford was one of six finalists for the annual award, which recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of one member of the graduating class. Lankford was one of 293 seniors who earned diplomas this year. The graduation ceremony included performances by the CMR band and orchestra members under the direction of Dennis Dell, as well as the Chanteur choir under the direction of Jennifer Cantley.
