Senior Peyton Fulbright has been named the Montana High School Journalist of the Year. He has been on the Stampede staff for all four years of his high school career. He currently serves as editor in chief. The award is sponsored by the Montana Journalism Education Association (MJEA), which sponsors a $1,000 scholarship to the University of Montana. Fulbright also will receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Montana Newspaper Association. Fulbright intends to enroll at the University of Montana’s School of Journalism in the fall.
