Mikaela Shaw, a 2011 graduate of CMR and marketing student at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, was crowned Miss Wyoming in May 2015 and will compete for the title of Miss America on Sept. 13.

Shaw’s sister Morgan graduated in 2015 and her brother John is a freshman at CMR.

Shaw was crowned Miss University of Wyoming 2015 before competing in the Miss Wyoming pageant.  Her talent is playing the violin. SHaw’s platform is “The Benefits of Music Education in Elementary Schools.”
