Caouette joins former teachers on staff

Cramer Caouette has always wanted to work in the educational field, and this year he reached that goal.

It is his first year on the CMR staff, and this science teacher — who graduated from CMR in 2008 — said he wants to continue to do so for as long as he can.

”If there’s any other educational opportunities that come up then I suppose time will tell on what I should do for the future,” Caouette explained.

He described his personality as one that is easy going and laid back and before working in the educational field, he worked at Disney World as an intern, which he said was more fun than any other job there.

“They call us interns, but really we were just cheap labor for them,” he said.

Now, he teaches chemistry and Earth and Space Science for freshmen. He also coaches for the football and boys basketball team.

“It’s a lot of fun, and I love the students and the classroom atmosphere,” he said, adding that he now is colleagues with some of his former teachers. “There are a lot of great memories at CMR for me.”
